What is the goal of the Industry Matchmaking Event?
Matchmaking aims to create matches between large businesses and/or government agencies (“buyers”) and small businesses (“sellers”), based on company profiles, for the pursuit of government contracts.
How does it work?
All small businesses who choose to participate in matchmaking will be asked to create a profile for matchmaking participation, which takes no more than 15 minutes. While creating this profile, key information is collected from participants and algorithms are used to determine the best possible match with large businesses. All small businesses receive a schedule of their matchmaking sessions.
All buyers (large businesses and government representatives) receive a schedule of their matchmaking sessions, as well as profiles of all the small businesses with whom they will be meeting. On the day of the matchmaking sessions, a team will be on site to facilitate the entire matchmaking session.
When registering to attend the Symposium, simply answer "YES" to the question about participating in Matchmaking. For small business, we'll send you instructions for how to set-up your profile and other details. Don't delay! There are a limited number of spaces available.
