Colonel Ihor Sadovenko holds the position of a commander of military unit A0420.

He is a graduate from Kremenchuk Flight College of the National Aviation University and Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

His domestic assignments include countering Russia’s creeping aggression on the Tuzla island in 2003 and the full-scale Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine having commenced in 2022.

He has deployed multiple times to Afghanistan during his participation in Operation Enduring Freedom from 2010 to 2015. Mr Sadovenko was part of Operation Barkhane in Mali, 2016–2018.
