Oleksandr Kyrychok joined the Kyiv Military Institute of communication and control in 1994 as a cadet.

In 1999, he was assigned to the Special Force Regiment as a platoon leader.

From 2003 until 2006 he was serving as a company leader and a chief of staff in the communication battalion.

In 2009, Mr Kyrychok was assigned to Chief of section in the Special Force unit, where he served until 2021.

In 2021, he was transferred to the MOD as Deputy Chief of Department of military-technical policy.

He has been acting as a chief of UAV Directorate in the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine since 2022.

Oleksandr Kyrychok gained professional training and graduated from:

USMC Command Staff College (Quantico), 2013;

National War College (Washington DC), 2021, got a master’s degree in national security strategy.

He has had multiple deployments to combat zones in Ukraine.

Aged 46, Colonel Kyrychok is married to Tetiana.
